The starting line is at 22nd Street while the finish line will be at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. A huge traffic congestion is expected as the organizers said around 11,000 runners will be gracing the 26.2-mile Philadelphia Marathon 2010 course.


On the other hand, nine thousand registered runners are set to go off in a half-marathon the same time as the marathon is happening. Around 50,000 people are expected to witness the said event. The male and female winners will receive $3,500 each.
