The Weinstein Company decided to move their space thriller Apollo 18 all around the release calendar, before landing on a date this fall.

Directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego and produced by Timur Bekmambetov, this new trailer strips away all the story and just highlights a few creepy scenes.



It’s not grabbing me the way Paranormal Activity did, likely because of the less realistic space setting, but it looks somewhat interesting.

Mazda Recall Spiders - In Friday's terrifying news story of the day, a tiny spider's web might crack apart your car engine and start a fire. But only if you have a Mazda 6. And no one has any idea why this is happening.

The news has forced Mazda to recall 65,000 cars in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The spider is the yellow sac spider. Mazda dealers reported 20 cases of webs being found in a vent connected to the fuel tank system. The webs could clog the ventilation system, applying pressure to the fuel tank, which could then crack and cause a fuel leakage. The Associated Press reports:

Wes Leonard Fennville

wes leonard fennville - Heartbreak and shock hit a Michigan high school basketball on Thursday, when before hundreds of spectators, Wes Leonard star player collapsed and died after a game-winning shot in overtime with his team closed a perfect season.

Leonard, 16, of Fennville High went to a cardiac arrest and did not respond after the game, say news reports. He rushed to the hospital around 9:15 in the Netherlands and 85 minutes later pronounced dead, according to hospital spokeswoman Deb Patterson. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
