In the most surprising upset yet from the World Cup 2010 series, the Mexico vs France match ended in a 2-0 victory for Mexico. Nobody except possibly Mexico thought that they could win against the organized offense of France’s team. However, they did in a record match, since this could be the first time ever that Mexico has beaten France.

Javier Hernadez and Cuauhtemoc Blanco made the two goals that won the game for Mexico, but it was their combined defensive effort that kept France scoreless.

In their next match, Mexico only requirements to score a draw so that you can advance to the next level; however France is virtually eliminated. Their only hope is if they beat South Africa AND if the Mexico vs. Uruguay match ends in their favor.
