Lakers Parade 2010 details and routes were revealed after the Lakers won the 2010 NBA Championship. The Lakers Parade 2010 details and route might be very familiar to the fans of the Lakers,
as they just got finished doing a parade for winning the 2009 NBA championship. Pretty soon they are going to have to change one of the street names to "parade" in order to really mark the festivities. Early estimates put the anticipated crowd at between 500,000 and 2 million, so the parade was given a two-mile route in order to get everyone a good glimpse of the players.

According to the Lakers web site the Lakers parade will be on Monday, June 21st, starting at STAPLES center before traveling south on Figueroa Street to Jefferson Boulevard, just north of the USC Campus and Galen Center. The Lakers parade route will begin at roughly 11 a.m. PST on Monday, allowing for the players, coaches, and their families to all get on board the man floats that will come down the route. It is then that the parade participants will begin winding their way up the way, all on double-decker open-air buses and other designated vehicles. They will all be led by the Laker Girls to the final destination.

The final stop won't be as spectacular as the one the Lakers had prepared for them in 2009 (with the rally inside the Coliseum) and this year the players will address fans from the floats. It's a bit more toned down, but it should still be an exciting event for any Lakers fan to witness. So, if you are a Lakers fan, come on out and enjoy the team that just won the 16th NBA championship in franchise history, led by NBA Finals MVP Kobe Bryant.
